We live in a time now where we have lost bits and pieces of realness. We are in recovery from a culture of pretending. We suffer under sound bites and forget how to hold meaningful conversations. We can apologize for even some of the worst things in 140 characters or less. We are spellbound by sensationalism, forgetting how simplicity used to be king. We are losing ourselves under a cloud of deception which says what happens out there is more important, more life changing, than what happens to the spirit inside of us.
We are neck deep into fooling ourselves believing that "logging" in is more important to our esteemed development than pushing CTRL ALT DELETE and ridding our lives of the really bad parts. We must awake and take that even harder look at our spiritual growth and if we don't at least know that there's a toll and worse still the piper. Lord save us and lead us to our real purpose.
Acts 26:16 King James Version (KJV)
But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee.
