I don't worry much. But I do worry when I feel like we collectively don't worry enough. What I want to say is where is the public outcry, the crowds in the streets, the "we are not going to take this anymore", the utter fright and astonishment over US sex trafficking and slavery? We will spend more time tonight watching fashion trends and Hollywood hookups/break ups reported on television than all month the reports of this rising epidemic throughout our country. Over two million children worldwide, 25% US citizens, most under age 18. Our mostly girls are being snatched out of urban and yes suburban malls, from their front yards, off their bicycles only to be traded into a world so heinous it is much too difficult to even imagine.
So I ask again, where is the worry? Who is standing in the street picketing for our young girls? Sex slavery is everywhere in the US, mostly concentrated in 13 states. Where do you live? Doesn't matter anyway, like the plague it is, sex slavery is on the move. Worried now?
