The last time I felt really well I was in Hawaii with my family, April 2015. Today I have chosen to go back there in my mind. I remember the brisk winds, the vast ocean expanse. all the super duper colors covering the horizons. I smelled those colors too and when I couldn't, I made up imaginary scents. I never did come up with a smell for the color yellow. What does yellow smell like?
Thinking of colors my mind goes back to words I wrote seven months ago to this day, 11/12/14. Six flags I carry. A blog portion is presented here:
I wave a red flag of courage. A mind open to trying new things, big and small, even when surrounded by voices of doubt and discouragement. Breaking down barriers is not new but it is unpopular.
I wave a blue flag of humility, waving my wings proudly above the prickly fray of mediocracy. I hold on despite the graffiti laden images sprinkled about displaying Stop and Caution signs when all I want to do is Go forward and upward.
I wave a red, black and green flag of honor. Proud to be in this black skin displaying my age, sun spots, crow's feet and graying crown. Flattery will get you everywhere with me, especially if it is served warm with words like; overcome, dedication, and unbendable. Topped with words like beautiful, ageless, and spirited.
I wave a crimson flag of blood, sweat and tears undeterred though appearing at times dingy, torn, and tattered.
I wave a purple flag of servitude to the Almighty. I sway back and forth with hymns of HIM in my heart, bible verses on my lips and jubilation for my many gifts of life, self-sufficiency, health and happiness. I dance with the joy of knowing I am chosen.
And now on this day that God holds in his mighty righteous, never changing hands, I lay my thoughts of yellow at his alter: I have nothing but beautiful colors in my future.

I can't wait for all of us to get together & praise God for what He had done physically in your life! My sisters we need to together in one accord when our dear La Detra is able, get together & praise God & put a boot in Satans rear!! Do I have an AMEN!!
