Let's face it, some of us are doers. First on the scene, last to leave. The fixer. We are used to giving of ourselves, no complaints, why bother. Somebody is always counting on us for something. It is in our DNA to give of ourselves. We don't really mind. We give freely. That is until we stand at our resister looking at an empty till.
That is until we ask for our change back. A little of our own change back on the other side. The "just calling to check on you call", when we are sick. The "just thinking of you, did not need anything, you were just on my mind". The "I hope you like brownies" surprise on the doorstep. The, "I picked these myself with you in mind." The kind of change back with the sprinkle of thank you and I appreciate all you do peppered on.
So from one doer to another, if you are not getting your change back ask for it. Don't ever allow anyone to undervalue your giving currency.

I love being around people. I would rather live falling than break my spirit never trying anything hard. This blog is about trying and retrying life.
